After a long hiatus, we are back again with another accessory review for you. This time it is for the brand-new Apple Mac Studio. Unlike other devices, you will need a number of devices if you want to function this Mac Studio fully. So we are literally going to start from the 0 and we will gradually pave our road to 10.

For those who don’t know what the Apple Mac Studio is the Apple’s new super powerful desktop which came out of nowhere recently. It is bigger than a common Apple Mac Mini and much powerful than it and of course — a lot expensive!

First things first, a desk! No matter whatever device you work with, you will have to have a desk to manipulate everything you got. A good desk means you can act properly; it is like the backbone of your working / studying space. So it is the first thing we are going to introduce you today.

1. Vari Electric Standing Desk

As you can see there’s the word “Electric” on the name. As it clearly implies, this desk is programmable. The look is quite simple, tabletop is made from pressurized sawdust like material and is very sturdy — with smoothed out edges so you won’t get hurt by any accidental impacts. There are mainly two tabletop sizes, 48″ x 30″ and 60″ x 24″ (price varies). Two strong T-shaped legs support the tabletop, and they work with an almost silent motor inside. The motors are there to change the height of the table, yes! You can adjust its height between 25″ — 50.5″. Additionally, you can program the desk to remember your four most optimum height adjustments so you can adjust between each height with just one click. The tabletop and the legs are strong enough to hold up to 90KG max on it. The package includes the whole desk in separate pieces, it is quite easy to put everything together (a 10 min task) but do not forget that it will be bit heavier than you expect. The most noticeable thing about this desk is obviously its price tag, it will tempt you to not to go for this but trust me this is an equipment that’s worth your investment. In addition to all these, Vari provides a highly satisfying customer service too.

2. Gallaway Leather Desk Pad

Now you know the desk, then it is time to get to know the desk pad you are going to use. Regardless of what desk you are using, a desk pad is a must because no one wants to use their keyboard and mouse on a plain tabletop surface. A desk pad helps you to accurately and comfortably control your accessories while protecting the tabletop from possible damages (scratches and spills). The Gallaway Leather Desk Pad is a comfortable and smooth to your hands while it sticks to the desk perfectly without slipping away because it has a Suede like base. Gallaway gives you a lifetime warranty for this and it comes in a nice-looking box, quite suitable as a gift. If the desk you are currently have has an unbalanced surface, then this is the perfect choice to even everything.

3. Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard Pro

You may already have a keyboard in use but if you don’t and if you are looking for an update, then this is the one for you. A little bit pricy but will last quite long. The GMMK — Pro, as it looks, is a heavy keyboard. The specialty about this is that you have to assemble the keyboard yourself. The official website shows how to put together the keyboard to you in a very simple way, so you don’t have to panic at all. All the key caps are easily swappable according to your preference. Even if you are a gamer or a professional writer, this will serve you very well. There is also a fully programmable RGB panel — a light per key. In the top right corner there is a knob to control media, volume and such and it is fully programmable too. This connects to your PC (either Mac or Windows) via a Type-C cable so it will be much faster than typical USB-A keyboards. High quality materials, strong structure, great for any beginner whose interest shift towards custom keyboards. Remember this keyboard is considerably taller than other common keyboards, so you may need a wrist rest too.

4. HyperX Wrist Rest

As I said, a wrist rest isn’t mandatory unless you use a taller than average keyboard. Not only for those who use a taller keyboard but the ones that use normal size keyboards have many advantages from using a wrist rest. It doesn’t have to be something fancy and expensive; it just has to be comfortable and soft. HyperX Wrist Rest has every feature you need for the best price in the market. This will feel like the colder side of a pillow in your hands. Yes! This is that soft. It is 18 inch long and should be enough for any type of keyboard and looks super minimalistic, even the HyperX logo is unnoticeable in the first glance. Perfectly combines with the GMMK — Pro we just mentioned above.

5. Logitech MX Master 3 Advanced Wireless Mouse

Logitech is a brand renowned for computer accessories. A good mouse is as important as a good keyboard. The combination of better accessories make work easier and much more doable. Just like our keyboard, Logitech MX Master 3 has a bit high price tag but it’s totally worth it. This mouse is fully programmable and supports a level of 4000 DPI max, so it is quite precise too. The mouse wheel is faster, accurate and makes ultra-low noise than a normal voice. There are navigations buttons and a wheel to your thumb. The mouse is designed to fit right into your hand, the thumb rest is quite useful too but if you are a person who has long fingers, then this might not be suitable for you. The Logitech software allows you to change the dpi and assign suitable dpi settings for some famous software like Adobe. If you are more into gaming, then it is better to avoid this kind of mouse because the software doesn’t allow you to change the dpi in numbers and is noticeably smaller than an average gaming mouse. A single charge will get enough power to work for maximum 70 days (depends on the usage) and if you are in a hurry, a quick 1min charge will give you 3hrs.

6. Samsung SSD T7 Portable External Solid-State Drive

Acquiring a Mac Studio with bigger storage will cost you drastically more than getting an external storage device. So, if you are buying something like that you need to think about the speed, compatibility, and the durability. Samsung T7 only cost half of what it will additionally cost you to get the 1TB Mac Studio. This supports USB Type-C — USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity, highly recommended to keep games and professional software because of the massive read/write speed. Small in size so it is a traveler friendly device. The storage body is made from aluminum and is kind of strong, it will absorb the heat during extended data transfers and will get bit hot, but it is completely normal. The most optimum option for the given price range.

7. LaCie Rugged Mini 2TB External Hard Drive

If you are looking for the protection of the data rather than the portability or the speed, then you might be interested in this one. LaCie Rugged is not a Solid-State Drive so do not expect the same level of speed, it is merely a HDD with additional physical protection. There’s a rubber bumper around the disk drive and it will protect this the drive from 4-feet drops, shock and even from dust and water — almost looks like a Lifeboat. For the digital protection of the data there’s a built-in password protection facility. This uses USB 3.0 as its connectivity method and that is actually enough with the other given facilities. The protection is the specialty here.

8. Anker USB Type-C to USB-A Adapter (2 Pack)

You cannot get rid of your old accessories just because you bought a Mac Studio. Maybe your favorite keyboard and mouse still uses USB-A for connectivity, then you will be glad if you can have few extra USB-A ports instead of Type-C. These Anker adapters will transform literally any USB Type-C port to a USB-A port and will work just fine, easy plug and play. You can definitely expect a premium quality build because Anker is well known for that.

o if you currently do not have a Bluetooth headset and willing to buy one in the near future, this is the best option for you. It comes with three different ear-tips and very easy to choose what fits you the most. Believe me, the audio quality of the Apple AirPods Pro is unmatchable when it comes to Bluetooth earphones.

10. 2022 Apple iPad Air

Why an iPad? you might wonder. It is actually because of the Universal Control, and NO, iPad Air 2022 isn’t the only one that got Universal Control, all the latest generation iPads have it, but this is probably the best looking one among them all but if you like you can go for a bigger iPad Pro. With Universal Control, you can use your iPad as your Monitor which makes your Mac Studio a literally portable PC. iPad Air has a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display that looks absolutely stunning and 12MP cameras in the back and the front. Connects with USB Type-C and has a super-powerful M1 chipset. Using an iPad Air (or any iPad) will also work as an additional storage. So, what else do you need?
